DIY nail polish keychain – llavero de esmalte

¡¡Hola a todos!!

Uno de los motivos por los que empecé en su momento el blog fue para poder tratar temas que, aunque relacionados con los pinta uñas, no fueran estrictamente tutoriales de manicuras como en el canal de Youtube. Hoy os enseño una de esas entradas: haz tu propio llavero de botella de esmalte. Veréis que sencillísimo es.

Hacía tiempo que tenía en mente hacer algo así. La idea original había sido hacer un llavero de fimo con la forma de la botella de China Glaze o algo parecido, pero buscando algún tutorial de como hacerlo, me topé con una tienda que vendía unos llaveros hechos con botellas de esmaltes. Desde ese momento supe que tenía que hacerme uno, pero como no tenía ninguna botella lo suficientemente pequeña y/o gastada para hacerlo, el proyecto se quedó olvidado en algún rincón de mi cabeza.

Hace un par de semanas Esminailart me estaba enseñando unas compras que había hecho en un chino, cuando vi entre ellas una minitalla de un Yes Love. De repente, el cerebro me empezó a dar vueltas, y al instante ya estaba solicitándole sus servicios como poticamella oficial jeje.

Para hacerlo utilicé:

  • Una botella de esmalte pequeña. Esta es de 5 ml, pero más que cuántos ml traiga, lo verdaderamente importante es el tamaño, y, en principio, cuanto menos volumen tenga mejor. Mi botella la usé tal cual como estaba, quitándole las etiquetas que traía, ya que me parecía muy bonito el glitter que contenía dentro. Sin embargo, se puede usar una mini talla vieja que esté casi vacía limpiándola con acetona y rellenándola, ya sea con bolas de caviar, o con otro esmalte, o con glitter… incluso metiéndole un papel como si fuese un mensaje en una botella. ¡¡Hay miles de opciones!!
  • Una anilla de llavero. Yo usé una anilla vieja de un llavero que se me había roto. A día de hoy yo diría que se pueden comprar llaveros muy baratos en casi cualquier bazar, tiendas de todo a 100, etc.
  • Una alcayata pequeña (como las que se usan para colgar cuadros, pero en pequeño). Podéis encontrarlas en cualquier ferretería.
  • Y unas tenazas. Realmente no son totalmente necesarias pero facilitan mucho las cosas.

Los pasos para hacerlo son:

  • En primer lugar, debemos coger la alcayata con las tenazas por la zona del agujero. También lo podemos hacer con las manos, pero el paso siguiente se complicará ya que será más difícil hacer fuerza

  • Posteriormente, colocamos la parte puntiaguda de la alcayata en el medio del tapón de la botella donde irá situada. Es conveniente colocar la botella en una superficie plana en posición vertical.

  • Después, presionamos la alcayata hacia el tapón con los alicates o con la mano, y o bien vamos girando la botella, o bien giramos la mano. De esta forma la alcayata se irá abriendo paso por el tapón hasta estar completamente introducida en el mismo.

  • Finalmente, solo queda colocar la anilla de nuestro llavero unida a la alcayata. La forma de hacerlo dependerá del tipo de anilla que se use. En mi caso abrí uno de los eslabones de la cadeneta con los alicates, lo introduje por la alcayata, y apreté de nuevo el eslabón con los alicates para cerrarlo. ¡¡Y listo!! Ya tenemos nuestro llavero de botella de esmalte. ¿A que era facilísimo?

  • También es opcional (y hasta cierto punto bastante recomendable) echar una gotita de pegamento extra fuerte (estilo Loctite) en la zona donde se une la alcayata con el tapón para asegurar la unión, así como en la rosca de la brocha para evitar que se abra el esmalte y haga un estropicio.

La verdad es que yo pensaba que sería menos “armatroste”, pero sigue siendo divino, y la parte positiva es que así encuentro más fácilmente las llaves en el bolso jeje. Supongo que todo será cuestión de encontrar una botella algo más pequeñita, pero mientras, yo voy por ahí más contenta que unas castañuelas con mi llavero de botella de esmalte. Sí, será el colmo del frikismo, ¡¡pero yo estoy orgullosa de ello!!
