¿Os gusta el caldo? Pues tomad dos tazas. Y es que me imagino que ya estaréis “hasta las narices” de ver manicuras de San Valentín, pero para una vez que me da tiempo a subir una manicura temática dentro de su propia época ¡Tenía que aprovechar!
Nunca me suelo hacer manicuras exclusivamente para el blog. Tengo muy poco tiempo para pintarme las uñas, con lo que, cuando lo hago es porque tengo pensadas llevarlas así varios días y no única y exclusivamente para hacer una entrada. Eso, unido a que tampoco tengo mucho tiempo para redactar la entrada en sí, y que se me acaban acumulando manicuras atrasadas que también quiero enseñar, hace que la temática del blog no este muy actualizada en cuanto a tendencias temporales jejeje.
¿Y como es que esta vez sí que se ha terciado? Pues no os creáis que es porque esta manicura es especial ni mucho menos, sino que ¡¡La culpa de todo la tiene Instagram!! Seguro que no somos pocas las que podemos saber aproximadamente en el mes del año en el que estamos solo viendo Instagram. Pues algo así me pasó esta vez, pero me traicionó el subconsciente totalmente. No sé que “cable se me cruzó en la cabeza”, pero me comí una semana de mi vida y este viernes pensé que era día 13 y no 6. Este es el resultado de mis desvaríos temporales.
Para hacerla utilice:
- Esmalte rojo – Láser Kiko
- Esmalte blanco – Milk rare
- Water decals – Bornprettystore si os interesa, mi cupón de descuento del 10% es NLNW10
- Top Coat – Poshe (no sale en la foto
Los pasos para hacerla son:
- Después de cubrir nuestras uñas con una base protectora, pintamos el color de base. En este caso yo utilicé el rojo en todos los dedos menos en el corazón y en el anular que usé el blanco. El rojo, como se puede suponer, es por ir acorde con el espíritu de San Valentín. En concreto, elegí este porque me parece un rojo muy bonito y que igual otro día cualquiera no estaría tan animada a llevar por culpa del shimmer. Hasta hace poco no me gustaban nada los colores con shimmer, me parecían muy “yayunos”, pero últimamente la verdad es que parece que me estoy aficionando, sobre todo a esta colección Láser de Kiko. Si os interesa, quizá la podáis encontrar en los almacenes de algunas tiendas de Kiko al módico precio de 1 euro. Por lo que se refiere al blanco, lo utilizo a modo de base en las water por dos motivos. En primer lugar, sirve para que si cometemos alguna
cagada oequivocación al retirar la water decal no se note tanto el extremo mal quitado. Y en segundo lugar, yo estoy convencida de que sirve para que sea mas fácil aplicar la water decal como os diré a continuación. - Cuando esté seco el esmalte de color de base, aplicamos la water decal. La teoría es sencilla: se recortan los trozos individuales para cada uña, se quita el plástico protector que suelen llevar, se humedecen unos segundos en agua, se posan sobre la uña, se retira el exceso de agua, y solo habría que retirar los trozos sobrantes y echar top coat para proteger el diseño. Sin embargo, quien haya probado estas water decals de uña entera puede que haya experimentado en sus propias carnes que pueden ser un poco “tricky”. Y es que son muy rigidas, no se pegan, salen arrugas… Pues yo he encontrado una fácil solución que hace que usarlas sea sencillisimo, como debería de ser. Como os decía, me da la sensación de que aplicando un esmalte de base y poniendo la water decal sobre la uña, si después de retirar el exceso de agua la asentamos la water decal lo mejor posible encima de la uña y seguidamente aplicamos un top coat efecto gel, parece como si el top coat derritiera el material de la water, alisando las arrugas, y fundiendo esta con el esmalte de base. Esto hace que se puedan retirar los trozos sobrantes de los extremos con un palito de naranjo, porque al no haberse fundido con nada, se retiran muy fácilmente despegándose de la parte que sí debe quedar cubriendo la uña. No sé si me he explicado muy bien, pero os dejo un video de mi canal de Youtube donde se puede ver en vivo.

Me encantan las water decals. Es una manera muy fácil de poder llevar diseños en la uña muy variados e incluso, en ocasiones, que serían imposibles de hacer free hand. Además, como también se ponen muy rápidamente, te permiten hacerte un nail art resultón en pocos minutos, ideal para cuando no se tiene mucho tiempo y se quiere llevar algo especial.
